Photo Retouching- Digital Manipulation
The following retouching services are available:
- Dust removal from digital files
- Removal of scratches, paper creases, water spots, other flaws in copies of original artwork
- Resizing - using professional resizing tools such as Genuine Fractals (now called Perfect Resize)
- Straitening horizons, removing lens flare
- Removal of distracting elements
- Cropping
- Portrait - skin retouching - visible flaws removed, selective sharpening (often around eyes)
- Restoration of damaged originals - rips/torn paper repaired, even missing pieces recovered (within reason)
Most retouching can be perfomed in 30 minutes to one hour at $75.00 per hour (in 30 minute increments). All digital image files need colour managements and sharpening. This is performed as part of the standard print services and included in printing costs.
