Gallery Wrap Frame: canvas is printed with a coloured boarder
of your choosing (often black). It may be optionally inserted into a Gallery Wrap frame. This example has a half inch gap between the frame and the canvas to create a sense of depth and allows for a shadow effect.
Regular Stretch: The canvas is printed with a white border that allows for stretching on a 3/4″ deep wooden stretcher, is the conventional way of stretching a canvas and needs external framing in order to hide the unfinished canvas bleed and the staples on the side.
Gallery Stretch: A fashionable way of displaying canvas prints, it can be mounted either on small 3/4″ or full 1 3/4″ stretcher bars image border inversely printed on the sides of the stretcher bars. It offers a modern look while being clean; in order to stretch your canvas in a gallery style, enough image bleed must be allowed so the image can be wrapped to the back. Typical face sizes are 20" x 30" (or smaller) with a 1.5" stretcher bar.
